Latency and Loss

Members are obliged to return the borrowed publications on time. In case of delay;

The user has to pay a late fee for each day.

For publications that are not returned on time, two warning notes are sent to the user with an interval of 15 days.

The library is not responsible if the warning notice is not received by the member or if it arrives late. In this case, there is no discount or forgiveness for delay fees.

If the user, who has been sent a warning note twice, does not return the broadcasts, a lost broadcast will be processed for these broadcasts, an information including the lost broadcast price, the transaction fee and the delay fee will be sent, and the member will not be loaned for 2 months unless the damage is covered.

Members are asked to provide the lost publications with prints, and a transaction fee is charged. If the publication cannot be provided by the member, 3 times the last printing fee and the transaction fee are charged from the member.

In case of loss of out-of-print publications, the fee and transaction fee determined by the Department are collected.

If the lost publication is not reported to the library until the return date, an additional delay fee is charged.
